Welcome to Jones Precision Wheels! You may have arrived by accident or design but I hope you will hang around awhile and get the flavor of what I do here. I started building in 1986 and I have built wheels for touring, road racing, track racing, commuting, and mountain biking along with wheels for recumbents, unicycles, wheelchairs and even carnival floats. There have been a few motorcycle wheels thrown in for good measure.
I’ve built with rims from Araya, Shimano, Sun, Saavedra, Stans, Enve Composites, Hed, Alchemy, Wolber, Mavic, Velocity, Ambrosio, Zipp, Matrix, Bontrager, Rigida, Nisi, Weinmann, Ukai, Saturae, Campagnolo, Ritchey, Specialized, Torelli, Fir, Martano and DT Swiss, among others. I’ve built with most European, Japanese and American spokes, including Tioga Tension Discs. Let’s not even get started on hubs!
